The Beavercreek Housing Co-Operative was a 10 Block 50 Unit complete exterior revitalization of the property that was begun in the Spring of 2023.
Working closely with The Beavercreek Co-Op Board and RIMKUS, who are expert consultants of complete building envelope systems and building systems, we have been able to bring new life and longevity to not only the 50 units but the entire property.
Beavercreek by the Numbers:
Applemead Co-Operative Homes was a 7 Block 47 Unit property that had its shingle roofing, soffit, fascia, eaves, and attic insulation completed in 2 phases in 2020 and 2023.
As with most of the work we do, the new attic insulation allowed the Co-Op to apply for a number of government energy grants and savings.
Applemead by the Numbers:
The Clarion Co-Operative was a chance for us to stretch our woodworking capabilities and remove and then install 23 new backyard decks in 2023.
This is another example of the variety of work Jackson Roofing and Exteriors is capable of handeling.
To speed up the deck process we have come up with a system where we build the base frame of the decks off-site in our shop, then transport and install them in bulk. This greatly increases the speed of the job install, as we are able to pre-build inside a shop in any weather and not lose days due to rain/ snow.
Cavendish Co-Operative Homes was an 11 Block, 73 Unit property that had their exteriors completely redone in 2019.
Working with The Cavendish Co-Op Board and IRC/ RIMKUS again, we were able to not only change their building’s exteriors but also remove and replace their attic insulation. Improving the attic’s R-value and airflow. This new insulation, along with the new windows, doors, and wall insulation, allowed the Co-Op to apply for a number of government energy grants and savings.
Cavendish by the Numbers:
The Preston Heights Co-Op was a 10 Block 42 Unit property that had its exteriors wholly redone in 2018.
Working with The Preston Heights Co-Op Board, their designers, and the consultants at IRC / RIMKUS, we were initially tasked with replacing the shingle roofs, the roof’s plywood, attic insulation, and extending the roof “rakes”(The overhangs on the gable end of the roofs) on the property. Upon seeing Jackson Roofing and Exteriors’ capabilities, we were then asked to handle their exterior wall renovations as well as all of the doors on the property.
This new attic and wall insulation, along with the new doors, allowed the Co-Op to apply for a number of government energy grants and savings.
